Additionally, each chapter includes statistics about the number of incidents Mwatana documented during 2019, in addition to a brief legal framework for each pattern of violations and some case studies. [...] On the morning of Eid al-Adha, Sunday August 11, 2019 at about 08:00 a.m., coalition aircraft dropped four bombs on the village of al-Samwil, Mustaba District, Hajjah governorate. The first bomb hit a civilian car in the yard of a house. After about 7 minutes, two other bombs fell about 50 meters from the house, striking those who had survived, who had gathered under a tree after the first bomb hit. The fourth bomb hit a car for paramedics near the house. The attack killed 11 civilians, including seven children and two women, and wounded 17 others, including six children and five women. One of the victims (22 years old) said: “The children’s bodies were torn apart as they were getting ready to wear clothes for the Eid." ^[+]
